Silkscreen Printing

Silkscreen was the medium of choice for printers for quite a while. It is even possible to screen print photographs but that requires special inks and technique. Let me share a secret with you: Lots of companies in India who advertise block printed fabrics and textiles are actually screen printing them as block printing is expensive and more specialised. With the advent of new printing technologies, screen printing  has seen a steady  decline in the past few years and slowly it is fading into oblivion.
