Sleepless in Delhi, have a flight to catch in a few hours. A night lamp in teak wood with an old map; the luxury of using a prototype when you know it’s the only piece made. The thickness of the old map was just perfect to make it translucent. I chose this particular map from the many that I had because of my roots and the place where I spent a part of my childhood. The way this range of products have come out, it seems these maps were just waiting for me to use them. I bought over a 1000 of these from an avid collector who eventually ran out of space and just wanted to get rid of them. I know very soon I will exhaust my stock but the satisfaction lies in knowing that over 5000 journals and pencils made from these old maps are being used by travellers across the world to pen their memories and experiences.
